She lives in Greensboro with her husband, Chuck, and their two Great Pyrenees rescue dogs, Boomer and Luna, who inspire her work every day.

As founder of THGF in 2013 in honor of my heart dog Haley. With the support of my husband we have fostered over 1500 animals, ensuring they are loved and adored as Haley was.
The mom of 2 children, two bonus children and four grandchildren, my family shares my love of animals and I am forever grateful.

First serving as a foster and later stepping into the role of Vice President. Her passion for animal welfare is reflected at home, where she and her family share their lives with three dogs — two adopted through Haley Graves and one from the SPCA — as well as a rescue cat from Charlotte. After welcoming her son in September 2025, Ashley stepped back from active fostering but continues to support the organization as a dedicated board member.

I am proud to support a mission that is deeply personal to me. I adopted two of my own dogs from the Haley Graves Foundation, and serving in this role is my way of giving back to a cause that has brought so much joy to my life. I’m honored to help ensure more dogs find the loving homes they deserve.

Growing up, my family always adopted dogs and I knew then that I wanted to work to give animals as many chances as they need to find a happy life. Working with people as passionate about that as I am is truly inspiring.

As a long standing BOD member,, I am proud to be a part of an organization that is passionate about animals. With my fabulous wife Debbie, we have fostered hundreds of animals. Being involved in THGF is our passion and we are happy to be part of this team.
