Haley became family, sharing adventures and soothing moments. In 2007, a devastating diagnosis threatened her, but love spurred us to fight. Predicted months turned into remarkable years - 36 months of resilience, defying fate. In 2010, she crossed realms, leaving a legacy of love.
Haley's impact ignited a mission in us, birthing The Haley Graves Foundation in 2012. Guided by her spirit, it transforms lives, a testament to the profound power of compassion. Through scorching trials, Haley showed love's enduring warmth, forever shaping our journey.
I've volunteered with various animal organizations for the last 15 years here in NC and NYC. Every animal deserves to be happy, and I believe animals bring everyone happiness. Here, as the Executive Director, I get to facilitate both those things!
Growing up my family rescued/rehabilitated/adopted a variety of animals from dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, a racoon, squirrels, and more. You could say helping animals is in my blood. In 2020, my husband and I adopted our 2nd dog from THGF. I had this urge to get more involved in a greater way and decided to start fostering

In 2020, my husband and I adopted our 2nd dog from THGF. I had this urge to get more involved in a greater way and decided to start fostering. We found our 3rd dog through fostering, and I am thrilled to be even more involved in this wonderful organization.
Growing up, my family always adopted dogs and I knew then that I wanted to work to give animals as many chances as they need to find a happy life. Working with people as passionate about that as I am is truly inspiring.
